Welcome to the Spectra® Extreme Double Braided Winch Rope. This rope has been in development for almost a year to find the right fibre, diameter, braiding and accessories.

• This rope is double braided with 100% USA made Spectra Fibre by Honeywell Technologies.
• The value of double braiding can not be under estimated. The 1mm outer braid protects in the 9mm inner rope core from abrasives, giving our customers confidence of it’s durability, and a longer lasting winch rope.
• This rope has a 10mm (5/12″) diameter, with a minimum breaking strength of 8000kg (17600lbs).
• Available in both 30m (100ft) & 45m (150ft) lengths, with all kits including a forged hook at no additional cost.

• It’s Strong… It’s more than fifteen times stronger than steel. In other forms it’s used in bullet proof body armour. This fiber is used for ropes to hold ships and other vehicle when cyclones/hurricanes are coming. Word is that Spectra Fibre has tethered a spacecraft or two…
• It’s light, very light… Weighing considerably less than nylon or polyester.
• It’s durable… The impact and abrasive resistance makes it an ideal winch rope solution.
• It’s soft.. You might think soft means weak or less durable, but not Spectra. It’s soft to hold, comfortable to run on the winch drum and won’t tear your hands or gloves to shreds during a recovery.to help!
